To elevate comfort and luxury, they added generously padded, individually upholstered cushions, while preserving the original’s elegant silhouette and ergonomic principles. Each chair in the Soft Pad™ line features 2-inch-thick plush cushions, which provide a uniquely soft seating experience while maintaining the chair’s structural integrity and support. The signature seat-back suspension — with a continuous piece of upholstery stretched between lightweight aluminum side ribs — ensures a flexible, responsive sitting pocket that adapts subtly to the user's posture.

Expansive options

Give this timeless design a high degree of personalization through expansive material choices. Among these is the luxurious feel of leather, in contract-grade or premium MCL Leather, a semi-aniline, dyed leather with 100 percent natural full grain. Color variations and surface marks are an inherent characteristic of this material, which will acquire wrinkles and creases and develop a rich patina over time. To complement lighter materials, we offer powder coat finishes on the base and frame, along with traditional polished aluminum.
